The manufacture of cement tiles is almost identical to those produced at the end of the 19th century.
The tile consists of a cement / sand screed with a thickness of 12 mm, to which is added a wear layer of 4 mm, dyed in the mass, consisting of a mixture of marble powder, white cement and Bayer pigment. The mold is then placed in a hydraulic press to compact and assemble the assembly. At the exit, the cement tile is demolded.
It is then hydrated and placed in a dryer.
